Tea Break for Riverside

On Wednesday 14th April the two lead directors on the Riverside Field Project Kirsty Balfour and Catriona Fraser held a Trust Virtual Tea Break alongside new Trust Manager Tony Foster.

This was an informal meeting to give an update of the Riverside Field Project and get feedback from local residents and start up a local Steering Group for the Project.

Up until now there have been three consultations to develop a masterplan that will go into planning but the site requires significant dialogue with local residents on aspects of that plan.

The Community Action Plan will also inform activity across the area, including the current aspirations for Riverside Field.

The Trust are now fully aware that whatever the final development will be, significant match funding may be required alongside the needs of the community.

In the short term a plan was presented to, taking into consideration local wildlife, mow a pathway around the field and create cut areas to run outside activity with a small seating area.
