Loch Ness Rural Communities was set up in 2015 to highlight the land management, employment, wildlife and conservation that goes on in the Straths around Loch Ness.

Needles & Pins is a sewing group that meets fortnightly at the Wildside Centre in Whitebridge.

Soup to Go
Come and join us for lunch between 12 and 1:30pm every Monday at the Wildside Centre. Soup to Go is all about bringing our community together. Each week our friendly volunteer staff provide a choice of two hearty soups, freshly baked bread, homemade cakes, tea and coffee all the for cost of £3.00.
South Loch Ness Heritage Group
The South Loch Ness Heritage Group was established in 2003. Our aims are to research, promote and safeguard the heritage of the South Loch Ness area, including Stratherrick, Strath Dores and the south side of Loch Ness from Dores to Scaniport and Cullaird.

We are a local community spinning group set up to promote the use of local crofters' and farmers' fleeces where you can learn to prepare fleece for hand spinning and spin into yarn for dyeing, weaving, knitting crochet, or other textile craft.
