I recently joined SFCT as Project Coordinator and I’m really pleased to be part of such a warm and friendly community. My partner, our baby daughter and I moved to Whitebridge about six months ago, and we already feel very much at home here. From the moment we arrived, we’ve been struck by how welcoming and community-spirited the area is.

Before stepping into this role, I worked as a construction manager, where I developed strong organisational and project delivery skills. When I saw the SFCT position advertised, it genuinely felt too good to pass up. It brings together my professional experience with something I care deeply about — building connections, meeting new people, and contributing in a practical way to the place we now call home.

I’ve been buzzing with excitement since starting at the beginning of February and have really enjoyed getting to know people and the work already underway. There are so many opportunities to enrich and strengthen our community, and I feel very privileged to be able to play a part in supporting these efforts.

I’m looking forward to the months ahead and to working with residents, partners and colleagues to help develop positive, inclusive projects that make a real difference locally.
