Trust – Contracts for Works

Are you a skilled local tradesperson who is interested in undertaking work for the Trust?

The Trust will post tender documents or requests for contact from tradespeople and other suppliers on this webpage from time to time.

Current Contracts for Works

The Wildside Centre – Expression of Interest

SFCT is looking for a person to provide caretaking and janitorial cover for The Wildside Centre, Whitebridge

Duties:

  • To provide key-holder service to allow entry to Community Groups and other users
  • To ensure security of building and grounds when not in use
  • To provide access to contractors and maintenance personnel as required
  • To provide weekly clean of property including vacuuming, dusting, emptying of bins, cleaning of kitchen surfaces and sinks, cleaning and disinfecting WC’s including floors, replenishing supplies of toilet roll, soap and handtowels, ensuring correct waste bins is placed for collection by Council, sweeping of external entrance and paths, litter picking of grounds and car parking  and, when necessary, snow shovelling and salting to maintain safe  entrance and walkway.
  • Some minor gardening and plant maintenance works including tasks such as the changing of light bulbs and fixing leaks
  • Order cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain an appropriate stock at all times
  • To provide monthly window clean
  • To read and submit readings of electricity meters as required
  • Notify the Trust Manager/Chair when major repairs or structural issues are required

Workplace:

  • Based at Wildside Centre as and when required

Requirements

  • Physically fit
  • Smart appearance
  • Polite and organised
  • Willingness to be flexible as contract will involve variable attendance and hours
  • Driving Licence and vehicle
  • Reasonable computer literacy and access to email communication

Basis of Contract:

  • Preferably on a self-employed basis on a monthly rolling contract.
  • Working time minimum 5 hours a week up to 10 hours a week as required.
  • Weekly timesheet to be submitted before payment.
  • Please indicate required hourly rate of pay
