Stratherrick and Foyers Community Fireworks will take place on Saturday 3 November 2018, weather permitting.  The venue is Loch Ness Shores Caravan and Camping Park at Foyers.  Please take care when you arrive.  There is lots of parking along by the old aluminium factory once spaces around Riverside are full.

Thanks are due to local residents and especially the off-duty Fire Crew who are organising the event and who will be lighting the fireworks.  In addition, thanks to Messrs. D&L Forbes for permitting the use of the venue.  Loch Ness Shores toilets and facilities are available for all those attending.  You also get a great view of the squibs from the Craigdarroch Inn.

Just like last year, there will be free food from the Barbecue and music too.  There will be free sparklers available, which should be used with care.  In the interests of safety please do not bring your own fireworks to the event.

  • Please help the stewards who will be giving directions.
  • In case of inclement weather the organisers may cancel the event or postpone it.
  • Please check social media for information, especially if the weather looks like it will be extreme.

This event is funded in full by Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust using funds from local windfarm and hydro operators in Stratherrick.  It can only go ahead thanks to volunteers.  Please keep safety in mind at all times.

Note on Charity Collections  –  The proceeds of any bucket collections on the night are for the charity named on the bucket.  None of the money raised goes to Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust.
